COSEL Co Ltd. announced the introduction of 1000W free air convection cooling power supplies, the AEA1000F series. With demanding applications in mind, the AEA1000F can deliver peak power of 330% for a period of up to 3000 milliseconds. Designed for applications requiring a high level of safety, the AEA1000F is certified according to EN62477-1 (OVC III) for industrial applications and is approved according to ANSI / AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd edition for medical applications. The AEA1000F is suitable for body flotation (BF) applications and complies with 2MOPP (IN / OUT) and 1MOPP (OUT / FG) safety requirements. The layout of the AEA1000F is optimized for free air convection, making it ideal for use in equipment operating in low noise environments.
With ever increasing levels of automation in industrial and medical applications, power supplies must be able to deliver additional power during peak operating hours, as required by dynamic loads, such as starting the motor. The AEA1000F is certified to EN62477-1 overvoltage category three (OVC III), which means that final equipment powered by the products can be directly connected to the main distribution panel without adding an isolation level. additional. Designed for international applications, the versatile AEA1000F has an input voltage of 85VAC to 264VAC. Three output voltages are available: 24 V, 36 V and 48 V with respective rated currents of 42 A, 28 A and 21 A. The output voltage can be adjusted using a built-in potentiometer.
For low harmonic current distortion, the AEA1000F uses an active power factor corrector (PFC) and the switching stage uses an LLC resonant topology deploying the latest generation of power semiconductors, providing typical efficiency up to ‘to 95%.

The AEA1000F meets the safety requirements: UL (United States), C-UL (Canada), DEMKO (Denmark) and TUV (Germany). The product is UL62368-1, EN62368-1, EN62477-1 (OVC III) certified.
